Coaches and instructors lead functional strength and conditioning classes. These are designed to improve athleticism and reduce injury for sports.
These classes are designed to develop over all body strength, flexibility and to improve balancing skills. We incorporate free weights in a carefully instructed manner taking care that each exercise is done safely and correctly.
Each workout includes a cardio elements mixed in throughout the class and a weight program that incorporates core exercise as well as balance exercises. Each class is finished with stretching.
These classes are for strength and stability, balance, and whole-body conditioning. These classes work in conjunction with the senior indoor cycling classes to provide a whole body workout.
These classes provide high intensity workouts. You can either ride a spin bike or bring in your own bike and ride a computrainer or a high end cyleops supermagneto trainer, or even Kreitler rollers.
These classes are designed for seniors who'd like to use a stationery bike, in a group setting. This class is favored by seniors because it can be a gental or vigorous workout without any pounding on the body. The bikes are adjustable for size of each person and the instructors are trained to fit each rider to their bike.
These trainer Sessions are for junior cyclists and adults. Athletes ride their own bike in a group setting.
These classes are designed to be an efficient use of your lunch hour. Our instructors hit specific areas of training including endurance, interval intensity training, as well as rest and recovery.
Bring in your own bike and ride on our computer driven computrainer system
This is a specific workout to measure your functional threshold power (FTP). The FTP test is important if you are training with power or heart rate. After a solid warmup period you will do a 20 min effort so that your FTP can be calculated. It is recommended that you re-evaluate this about once a month.
These sessions are for junior cyclists and adults. Bring your own bike or ride one of the spin bikes. If you know your FTP these sessions can be used to optimize your workouts.
We have a library of various triathlon as well as cycling videos available. We can arrange for special workouts for individuals as well as groups of riders.
