Melissa Locher

I am a Master’s prepared Nurse Practitioner who has always been passionate about fitness and health and active in sport. I played ice hockey in my younger years, always riding my bike for endurance training and recovery, but turned to bike racing relatively late in life, in my late 40s. I have had my share of injuries and health issues over the years, which grants me personal insight into many challenges faced by “real people”. I have recently transitioned to teaching fitness outside of the healthcare setting in addition to coaching, teaching bike handling skills, and offering one-on-one on the bike sessions. My passions are cycling and Pilates in addition to healthy eating and healthy living in general. I love to help people find the inner strength to meet their life goals through fitness and healthy living behaviors. I also love to help people feel more connected with their bike, whether it’s getting comfortable and learning new skills after starting to ride, getting over a fear, or some other concern. I feel privileged to be a part of this team!
